To mark the 20th anniversary of the Patrimony collection, Vacheron Constantin has collaborated with designer Ora Ito to create a new self-winding watch in 18K 3N yellow gold. Limited to 100 pieces, this timepiece features a solid gold exterior and a dial in the same color as the yellow gold, decorated with numerous concentric circles that radiate brilliance. The extreme simplicity of the watch reveals the precision of its details and the designer’s signature concept of “Simplexity”, the art of turning complexity into simplicity. The minimalist ring motif, which resembles a ripple, echoes the arched shape of the dial. The rectangular silhouette of the strap in burgundy calfskin with rounded edges emphasizes the vintage look of the watch, contrasting with the round shape of the case and dial. The self-winding Manufacture caliber 2450 Q6, which is visible through the sapphire caseback, features a skeletonized 22-carat gold oscillating weight inspired by the Maltese Cross.
